My Story
I’m Paola, a designer, born, raised, and currently living in Queens, NY. Queens has loads of multiculturalism and diversity as it represents over 100 nations. This has led to interactions with different types of people and exposed me to a variety of interests and hobbies.
The top hobbies are below, but if you’d like to know the rest, send me a note.
My philosophy is to always try new things and be open to new perspectives and opportunities. Design is similar to life. They both require purpose, intention, and continually iterating to get a desired experience.
I have 10 years experience in graphic design, 8 years questioning, and exploring different interests, and 1 year as an English teacher. I believe being receptive to all types of ideas, people, perspectives as well as cultivating a growth mindset are essential skills any team would benefit from.
After much soul-searching, my focus is on introducing diverse and inclusive perspectives into the work I’m involved in. I’m particularly passionate about the Edtech, Fintech, and the Wellness industry. I want to apply my visual design, teaching experience, and exploratory nature to enhance the intention and purpose of a product to be well received by its users.
